Saeco Espresso Machines

Saeco espresso machines are a great way to enjoy coffeehouse-quality coffee in your own home. The company originated in Bologna, Italy in 1981; its founders were Sergio Zappella and Arthur Schmed. Saeco quickly reached an important milestone in 1985 when it created the first fully automatic coffee maker engineered specifically for household use. In 1990, Saeco created the TWIN two-cup machine, and by 1998, the company was creating machines with digital displays. In 1999, Saeco joined forces with another leading brand in the coffee equipment industry when it acquired Gaggia espresso machines.

Saeco sells traditional espresso machines for those who find making coffee beverages to be an engaging experience to be enjoyed, such as the Saeco Aroma. This versatile machine, which is available in both black and stainless steel models, can make many different types of drinks, including lattes and cappuccino. It features a steam wand so that you can add froth to your beverage. A great feature of the Saeco Aroma is that it is ESE compatible, so it can be used with easy serving pods, such as illy espresso pods. The Saeco Classico espresso machine was another one of Saeco’s traditional style machines, until the Aroma took its place.

Saeco automatic espresso machines are some of the company’s premiere products. If you enjoy a great cup of espresso without doing all the work of bean grinding and brewing, you will love the simplicity of these machines’ one-button operation. After you press the button, a precise amount of coffee beans will automatically grind, and your drink will begin to brew. Your used grounds will even be ejected into an internal drawer. The Saeco Italia was an automatic espresso machine that was sold at Starbucks stores. This particular model has been discontinued but if you still own one of these machines, replacement parts may be found online. Additionally, refurbished units are often sold on amazon.com. A current automatic model is the Saeco Incanto. This machine comes in two styles: The Saeco Incanto Classic features two beverage settings while the Saeco Incanto Deluxe boasts three beverage settings. The machine also features a built-in burr grinder. Burr grinders are superior to traditional blade grinders in that they crush coffee beans between two burrs, creating uniformly sized grounds, and they work at a slower rate of speed which helps to preserve the flavor of the grounds.

If you are thinking about purchasing an at-home beverage center, Saeco espresso machines have a lot to offer.
